To encourage bright and deserving students, UPES offers scholarships based on the following criteria:

1- Scholarship for meritorious students- 

Students who have secured the required percentage/rank/score in class 12th/JEE/CUET are eligible for various scholarships for a maximum of up to 30%

A maximum of 20% scholarship is offered for undergraduate courses available for girls. (On first-year tuition fee only) *

2- MBA program scholarships-

A scholarship of 20% shall be given to students who have scored a min. of 75% in their graduation exams. (On first-year tuition fee only) *

3- Bonafide Uttarakhand students’ scholarship-

A scholarship of 30% is offered to the students of Uttarakhand, provided they fulfill certain terms and conditions as prescribed by the university. *

4- Scholarships for underprivileged students-

UPES allows scholarships to such students based on certain criteria to support the underprivileged but deserving sections of society. *

5- Sports scholarships-

UPES offers scholarships to talented sportspersons who have represented their state/ country at state/ national levels to promote a culture of sportsmanship and teamwork amongst students.

For medal holders (gold/silver/bronze) at the national level, a scholarship of 50% is given on the first-year tuition fee.

For those who have participated (at the national level), a scholarship of 35% is given on the first-year tuition fee.

For medal holders (gold/silver/bronze) at the international level, a scholarship of 100% is given on the first-year tuition fee.

For those who have participated (at the international level), a scholarship of 75% is given on the first-year tuition fee.

1- THROUGH WALK-INS-  for this purpose, you can go to any of the enrolment offices of UPES and meet with the university representative, who will be too happy to assist you and clear all your admission-related queries. Once satisfied, you can take the forms and start the application filling process.

2- THROUGH ONLINE PROCESS- To apply online, you can visit the University's official website(www.upes.ac.in) and click on apply now tab. Then you need to follow the below-mentioned steps:

1- The first step is to fill out the application form on the university website page, where you must fill in your personal details. (Name, email, mobile no. Course interested in etc.)

2- Next, you must pay an application fee of Rs.1350/-* by net banking/ credit/ debit card/any UPI gateway.

3- In the third step, you must furnish your academic background details and upload all the necessary documents, e.g., class 10th, and 12th Graduation mark sheets, Transfer Certificate, Character Certificate, Domicile certificate, Category certificate, and other documents as required by the University.

4- Once you have successfully completed the above three steps and registered at the university portal, you must appear for the University's course-specific entrance tests. E.g., for taking admission in B.Tech. Courses, at UPES, a candidate must appear for UPSEAT/JEE/SAT entrance exam.

5- UPES Dehradun will release a merit list of successful and eligible candidates for different courses based on the entrance exams. The students can check the merit list by visiting the official website of the University.

6- Finally, all the selected students shall be notified through email/ SMS. The selected candidates would then be required to submit all their documents and pay the admission fee to the University to confirm their seats.

UPES has a wonderfully built campus spread over an area of 44 acres. The well-maintained campus area looks beautiful, whether it’s day or night. Total hygiene and safety measures are followed at UPES at all times. The hostel area is also well maintained, and the rooms have excellent infrastructure and facilities, including Wi-Fi, air conditioning (as per the weather conditions), safe drinking water, and 24* 7 medical and emergency facilities.

An infirmary is always open to attend to any medical need of the students, with a standby ambulance to take charge if the need arises.
