It all started in the year 1993 with the establishment of the Graphic Era Educational Society (GEES) with a vision and mission of providing quality education to one and all.  Three years later (in 1996), it led to the formation of the Graphic Era Institute of Technology (GEIT) at Dehradun, and now over a period spanning around 30 years, Graphic Era has become a brand to reckon with- having Institutes in Dehradun, Hill University in Bhimtal and another Institute in Haldwani.

1-   Scholarships for wards of defense personnel- as a mark of respect to the Defence Personnel, A scholarship of 5% is awarded (per semester) to their wards.

2-   Scholarships for female candidates- to motivate the girl child to study and advance in their careers, the university provides a 10% scholarship to every girl child on their net tuition fee.

3- UG/PG programs Scholarships- to ensure that the students work hard during the entire duration of their courses at GEU, various scholarships are granted for the entire duration of the course. Once a student can match the criteria for a particular course, they get the scholarship amount adjusted in the tuition fee they should pay to the university. The admission criteria of Graphic Era are simple, and an applicant can seek admission in the following two ways: -

2- THROUGH THE ONLINE PROCESS

1- THROUGH WALK-INS- Here, you can visit any of the enrolment offices (as per your choice of campus) of GEU and meet with the university representative. They will assist you and will clear all your admission-related queries. (Eligibility, seats available, fee structure, etc.) Once satisfied, you can take the forms and start the application filling process.

2- THROUGH ONLINE PROCESS- To apply online, you have to visit the official website of Graphic Era (Deemed) University and click on the APPLY NOW tab. This will take you to a page with four sections you need to complete to initiate your admission process. It would be best to choose your level, i.e., UG/PG/Doctoral/Certificate courses. This will take you to the page where all the related courses are listed, and you can choose your specialization and start the application process by clicking on the Apply Now button.

Once you click this button, you will be directed to the section where you have to fill in the information under four sections: Login, Selection Mode, Basic Details, and Upload Documents section. Once you fill in all these details, an ID will be created for future reference.

Note*- The eligibility criteria vary as per the course level (UG/PG/Doctoral/Certificate), but for most streams, the bare minimum qualification is 10+2/ JEE Score/ Graduation, etc. Finally, a merit list is prepared and shortlisted candidates are approached for a Personal Interview (PI). Once the candidate clears the interview, they must pay the admission fee and other applicable fees at the time of admission. After payment of the fee, their seats are confirmed in the courses chosen by them.
